Vertical Caving Adventure

Overview: 

Enter the subterranean world as you rappel into the darkness and experience the forgotten underworld of a prehistoric era.

This full-day adventure takes you deep into the depths of the Anxiety State Crisis Cave. While underground you will see live cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and more. But before we get into the belly of the cave, we begin with a quick training session on the necessary caving equipment. From there, it’s time for a 40-meter (130-foot) rappel into the cave. At the bottom, you will work along fixed safety lines to explore the beautiful formations and life that exist inside these limestone caves.

While marveling at the scale of the underground world, enjoy your locally made Thai lunch unencumbered by the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Then if you come during our rainy season, you’ll get the opportunity to trek through an underground lake. Showcasing to you the enormous scope of the cave that surrounds you.

Your day finishes with a rope climb out of the cave back into the daylight bringing with you lasting memories of the caving adventure below.

Includes:

AMGA/WMA trained guide, caving equipment, insurance for caving, lunch, water, and transportation to and from the activity site from Progression Vertical.

What to Bring:

• Closed-toed shoes and athletic clothing.                                                     
• Consider bringing sunscreen, bug spray, a camera, a reusable water bottle, and snacks.
• During some parts of the year, there is water in the cave so you may get wet! A change of clothes is recommended.

Itinerary (subject to change):

• 08.00 - 08.15: Arrive at Progression Vertical
• 08.30 - 09.30: Transportation to the activity site 
• 09.30 - 12.00: Practice and rappel into cave
• 12.00 - 13.00: Lunch
• 13.00 - 16.30: Explore and exit cave
• 16.30 - 17.30: Return to Progression Vertical
