Escape the hustle and bustle of the city with our newest 2 day adventure in beautiful Lampang for an exciting experience packed with rock climbing, rappelling, 12,000 year old cave paintings, and a homestay where you can immerse yourself in the colorful local customs.

Summary

The first part of your adventure takes you underground to explore Tham Pha Thai Cave the forgotten underworld below Lampang.  After exploring this subterranean world you will visit Pratu Pha, a historical cave painting site with paintings dated as far back as 12,000 years.  Follow up this historical experience by heading back to the local village to visit Lung Chiang and his organic farm.  Spend the evening picking your own ingredients for dinner while learning about sustainable agricultural practices. Yes, that’s right you will be cooking your own dinner with the locals at the homestay!

Day 2 of your adventure will be above ground and high above the Lampang Valley.  CMRCA guides will take you to Northern Thailand's newest climbing destination where you can climb, play and challenge yourself on this limestone playground of karst formations unique to Thailand's geography.  A delicious locally sourced Thai lunch will be waiting for you when you touch back down to the ground.

To cap your adventure off you will experience a Via Ferrata ascent through a small cave system only to spit out atop a free-hanging rappel with brilliant exposure and views of the forests and mountains that surround you. We'll then get you back to Chiang Mai safely around 5:30 pm so you can enjoy your evening in the city.
