Singapore American Independently Organized NYAA Gold Trip (January 2018)

Communication with Singapore American International School has given us the following insights about the program:

1. The main objective of the program is to complete the Adventurous Journey piece of the NYAA at the Gold level.
2. The NYAA Gold Award trip will run on Wednesday, January 10th through Saturday, January 13th. 
3. The activities will include a half day of camp set up, with climbing if time allows (depends on flights/traffic), followed by a day of caving, a day with our elephant rehabilitation partner, and a half day of white water rafting, followed by a prompt return to the airport. 
4. For the Adventurous Journey activities, the participants will actively participate in preparing and training for their expedition. The goal is to provide participants with the opportunity to learn more about the wider environment, as well as to develop their self-confidence, teamwork, and health. 

Payment & Cancellation Policy: 

Price as listed here (23,556) applies to payment by credit card due to credit card processing fees. 

In order to make this program feasible, we really must meet the group size of 9 students and 2 adults. As the program starts in 1 month, we need to finalize our partner bookings as soon as possible. To support this, the following Payment & Cancellation Policy will apply:

100% of the payment is due upon registration by December 15th to to hold the dates, staffing, and logistics. 

50% can be refunded by or before December 22nd. However, 90% will be refunded if a replacement participant is found.
